At the top of the large village of Tannourine, stands Chatine, a village lost in a lush nature with a breathtaking view of the entire valley beneath it. However, its major attraction is the Balaa gorge sinkhole which is a marvel of nature. Discovered in 1952, this sinkhole dug in the Upper Jurassic limestone has bridge-shaped formations and a 90-m-high waterfall.
