In partnership with the Institut Français de Tripoli @ifl.tripoli & the Municipality of Batroun @batrounmunicipality, the Water People NGO is presenting the “Ecological Freediver” in a short conference
The municipal library will host the event on Thursday October 19, 2023
The Ecological Freediver is a combined course for freedivers drawing theory out of practice. Sound evidence-based science is the backbone of this material
The conference is open to the general public as part of the ongoing awareness education protocol of the Water People NGO
It is not only for freedivers but for all sea enthusiasts and activists
You will learn about the basic scientific approach. It empowers your upcoming citizen-scientist participation in the Water People activities as well as your personal relationship with the marine world
Examples from marine sciences are plenty. They encompass marine biology and physical oceanography. All is introduced in a language that is understandable to everyone
A Q&A session is allocated at the end of the conference
Conversation about the sea is what brings us all together
