The Baatara Gorge with Routes

It’s that time of the year when Baatara gorge is most alive.
This Sunday we will be heading to Chatine- Tannourine, to discover one of the main touristic attractions of Batroun district: Baatara Gorge Waterfall, the only 3 natural bridges gorge in the world. Known that it drops 255 meters into the Sinkhole. After visiting this gem, our hike will start in Feghri mountain, overlooking a
panoramic view of Tannourine. We will head to Douma passing by the famous Damascus road that our ancestors used to travel from Lebanon to Syria and other countries.
We will end our day with a nice meal at @tannourinevalley if you wish to join us for a bite.

* MEETING POINT:
Beirut Al Nahar Building – Martyr square Downtown (we can pick up hikers along the way) at 7:00 AM.
Batroun Routes station at 8:00 AM.
PS: Punctuality is highly important

* HIKE DURATION: 4 hours
* HIKE DIFFICULTY: Moderate
* DISTANCE: 12 KM.
BE PREPARED:
Bring light snacks to boost your energy up (such as nuts, dry fruits and at least 1L of water), hiking or walking shoes, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.
