Summit Journey with Routes

Shoutout to all adventure lovers because this weekend, Routes will take you on an exciting extreme adventure to climb our way to the top of Mount Sannine ️.
Join us on Sunday, February 25, snowshoeing from the bottom to the top of Sannine Summit .
We start our hike on the southern side of the mountain, we will climb Sannine, conquering one hill after the other, to reach the summit at 2638 meters above sea level, overlooking a 360 degree view of Beirut and the Beqaa Valley. Our descent will be over the famous “Grande Coulée”, the western face of the mountain.
After our hike, We will enjoy warm meals and tea, to warm up our bodies after our adventure, at a local restaurant.

* DATE: Sunday, February 25.
* MEETING POINT:
Fouad Chehab Stadium- Jounieh at 6:30 AM.

PS: Punctuality is highly important!

* HIKE DEPARTURE: 8:30AM.
* HIKE DURATION: 7 hours.
* DISTANCE: 10 KM.
* ELEVATION GAIN: 1097 M.
* STARTING ELEVATION: 1541 M.
* SUMMIT ELEVATION: 2638 M.
* HIKE DIFFICULTY: Hard/ Adventurous.

BE PREPARED:
Bring light snacks to boost your energy up (such as nuts, dry fruits and 2L water).
winter clothing, winter shoes, jacket, gloves, hat or beanie, neck protection, sunscreen, sunglasses, changing clothes & an extra pair of warming socks.

Event Participation Fees :
• 40$/Person including Transportation.
• 35$/Person for groups of 4 and more
• 35$/Person for People who will join by their own car.

This event will include:
Snowshoeing equipments, Routes guides, Local guide, First Aid kit, Rescue equipment(Ropes & PPE), Breakfast (Tea & Croissants ) & Photos.

Maximum number of participants for this hike is 20.
