Into the Cave with Routes

This Sunday, we are going into the cave to explore the hidden gem beneath the ground of Akoura Village

We will go into Rouels Cave, the third longest cave in Lebanon, enjoy its mesmerizing natural formations and explore the adventurous section of the Cave.

After this experience, we will follow the river, to reach a waterfall carved between the rocks , where we will enjoy swimming in the cold refreshing waters of Roueis Source

Don’t forget to bring your snacks with you, our lunch will be next to the waterfall, picnic style

Event Details:

* DATE: Sunday, August 18
* MEETING POINT:

Beirut Al Nahar Building-Martyr square Downtown (we can pick up hikers along the way) at 7:00 AM.

Byblos- Public Garden Parking at 8:00 AM.

PS: Punctuality is highly important!

* EVENT DEPARTURE: 10:00AM.
* EVENT DURATION: 7 hours.
* HIKE DISTANCE: 2 KM.
* HIKE DIFFICULTY: Moderate, Adventurous.

BE PREPARED:

Bring light snacks to boost your energy up (such as nuts, dates, fruits, sandwiches and at least 1L of water), hiking shoes, swimwear, towel, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.

Event Participation Fees :
• 35$/Person including Transportation.
• 25$/Person for people joining in their own car.

This event will Include:
Routes guides, Local guide, Caving guide, PPE (Helmets, Headlights) First Aid kit, Breakfast (Tea & Croissants ) & Photos.

Maximum number of participants for this hike is 30.
