The sounds she composes and performs range from electroacoustic to electronica\, ambient\, noise\, and breaks. Her music is texture-heavy and currently focused on modulating recorded sounds with CV and ambient electronic music.” \nJulia Sabra & Fadi Tabbal\nThe duo’s new project can best be described as visionary electronic dream pop\, shapeshifting above ambient and industrial undercurrents. It is moody\, unsettling\, and luminous – the culmination of a decade of collaboration and friendship between producer/musician/engineer Fadi Tabbal\, and singer-songwriter/musician Julia Sabra from indie trio Postcards. \nTheir debut album ‘Snakeskin’ is set for release on October 14\, 2022\, with the first single ‘All The Birds’ out on September 2\, as part of the Corrosion Series –– a collaborative effort by Portland-based label Beacon Sound and Beirut-based label Ruptured. Sabra and Tabbal began working on the record in the aftermath of the August 2020 port explosion\, composing their first track ‘Roots’ for the Ruptured-curated series The Drone Sessions in the fall of 2020. \nAnthony Sahyoun\nAnthony Sahyoun otherwise known as Mme Chandelier is a Lebanese composer\, musician\, and programmer. His main field of work is the electronic processing of acoustic elements\, programming\, and experimental music. He co-founded the Lebanese ensemble Kinematik in 2015 with whom he’s produced 3 records and he released his sophomore solo record “Proof by Infinite Descent” in November 2021. He’s been a part of Tunefork Studios since 2018\, a renowned Lebanese studio and sound space. He also scores music for film and has composed sound for various installations.
